February 7th-14th is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week! Join us in raising awareness about congenital heart defects (CHD), the most common birth defect affecting infants. Each year, approximately 40,000 babies are born with a heart defect in the United States alone, which represents about 1% of all newborns. This week is an important opportunity to educate ourselves and others about CHD, the challenges faced by those affected, and the importance of early detection and intervention. Together, we can foster a community that supports families and advocates for better health outcomes for all. Let's spread the word and make a difference!

National Patient Recognition Week in February celebrates our gratefulness for being able to serve you! 🧡 This special week is dedicated to honoring the trust you place in us as your healthcare providers. Caring for our communities, one person at a time, is at the heart of what we do. In 2025, we had an incredible 34,140 visits and saw a total of 7,881 patients! Each visit and each patient represents a unique story and a journey towards better health. Thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts for entrusting us with your care!

In honor of National Mentoring Month, we are thrilled to introduce our brand-new Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Transition to Practice Program! While this pilot program is still developing, it is now available at all One Health sites to support our staff new to primary care. This 12-month structured program is specifically designed to bridge the gap between education and practice. By providing tailored mentorship and specialized education, we are empowering our newest providers to serve our rural and underserved communities with confidence.

What makes the program unique?
Structured Mentorship: Includes peer support groups and a dedicated preceptor program.
Comprehensive Learning: Features didactic modules, online learning, and MAVEN consults.
