A stroke, sometimes called a brain attack, occurs when something blocks blood supply to part of the brain or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts. In either case, parts of the brain become damaged or die. A stroke can cause lasting brain damage, long-term disability, or even death.

I hope you are doing well and that you and yours are healthy and safe.

As a co-founder and board member of the Concussion Resource Center, I am asking you to consider joining us and being a part of Gallatin County's day of giving - an opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community.

The Concussion Resource Center is a caring, supportive place where people with Concussion and their families have free access to resources to help them navigate the road to recovery.

Supporting the Concussion Resource Center through Give Big is very important during these uncertain times. The emotional impact and isolation experienced by those who are recovering from concussions is significant and can be almost insurmountable. Now with the added stress, uncertainty, and isolation as a result of COVID-19 these individuals need support more than ever. We realize you may not be in a position to support the Concussion Resource Center this year and we respect that and thank you for your support in the past.

With your help, The Concussion Resource Center is becoming a regional resource center that provides assistance, education, and a nurturing community for people with Concussion and their families.

We need your help! Please join our campaign and help us reach our goal of $2,000!

Give Big Gallatin Valley begins 6 pm this Thursday, April 30th at 6 pm and ends on May 1st at 6 pm . Beginning at 6 PM on April 30th, visit https://www.givebiggv.org/organizations/concussion-resource-center and make a donation to us. You will have 24 hours to make your donation.

Questions? If you have any questions or would like more information, contact me at 406-580-7853 or cfisherslp@hotmail.com If you would like to learn more about our organization visit us at https://concussionresourcecenter.org/

Check out our website www.concussionresoucecenter.org for prizes you would be eligible to win with as little as a donation of $20.00. Remember every donation will benefit those who have been affected by concussion.

If you are unable to donate at this time, please help us to get the word out about our organization.

Thank you in advance for your generosity to our organization!

Hope you stay well and safe.

Sincerely,

Cathy Fisher
