📢 Exciting News from Bozeman Primary Care!

We are thrilled to announce that, due to the continued growth of Bozeman Primary Care as a trusted medical provider in our community, we are expanding our team!

Jennifer Cain, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, will be joining our practice and welcoming new patients starting March 1, 2025. She is dedicated to patient-centered care, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and healthy lifestyle practices to promote overall wellness.

Jennifer brings extensive experience in Urgent Care, having practiced at both the University of Pittsburgh and BestMed in Bozeman. She is passionate about partnering with patients and their families to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

Outside the clinic, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family skiing, biking, gardening, baking sourdough, and fly fishing.

As always, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Blixt will continue caring for their existing patients.

We remain committed to providing outstanding primary care to the Bozeman community.

Dear Patients, Friends & Family of Bozeman Primary Care:

We are very excited to tell you about something that will allow you to continue to get the care you’ve come to know and love: VIRTUAL VISITS!

A virtual visit – also known as telemedicine or telehealth – is a convenient alternative to in-person office visits and will be especially valuable in the next weeks to months as our community is affected by the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Virtual visits can be used to manage ongoing conditions like depression, diabetes or hypertension; everyday care issues like prescription refills or questions about COVID-19; and urgent care issues, like cold and flu, sinus infections or UTIs.

Starting today, you can schedule a virtual visit with Melissa Blixt, DNP or Terry Edwards, MD using our online scheduling system - just like you did before for office visits. You will now see an option to choose a virtual visit. You'll be able to complete this visit on your smartphone from anywhere you like and your provider will communicate with you from our office. Virtual visits cost no more than an in-person appointment, and most insurances cover them equally to an office visit. We encourage you to check with your individual policy.

We will continue to offer wellness, follow-ups, and routine office visits here in the clinic. Every precaution is being taken during these encounters to ensure your safety. At this time we are not seeing
patients in the office for cold or respiratory symptoms; these should be handled through our virtual visit platform or a phone call to your provider.

Bozeman Primary Care will continue to be right here for you, whatever the circumstances.
