🐾 Fur the Love of Care 💚 Over the past few days, several of Manatee Memorial’s pet therapy dogs brought positive energy into the hospital in a big way. 🐶 Visitors enjoyed quick hallway greetings, patients shared stories and showed off photos of the dogs waiting for them at home, and staff members expressed how much the visits meant during long shifts.

Even a brief interaction can provide a refreshing reset in the middle of a busy day. We’re grateful for the impact these therapy dog teams have on both patient care and staff well-being. Hands-On Learning at Manatee Memorial 🏥 As part of our continued partnership with the Health Occupations Students of America - HOSA program, Manatee Memorial hosted students from R. Dan Nolan Middle School last week. They had an interactive learning experience designed to introduce them to careers in healthcare. 🩺 Through guided activities and demonstrations, students gained a better understanding of how hospitals support patient care.

Their visit included doing an echocardiogram, learning about rehabilitation devices, and practicing CPR skills. By providing these opportunities, we hope to inspire students to consider future roles in healthcare that will benefit their communities. 💚

What a fantastic weekend out in the community! 💙 Manatee Health was proud to be part of two outstanding events that brought our team, families, and neighbors together.

On Saturday, we laced up our sneakers for the annual Heart Walk in support of the American Heart Association at Nathan Benderson Park, walking with purpose to help advance life-saving research and heart-healthy awareness. ❤️
🚶‍♀️ Then, we wrapped up the weekend in style at the Bradenton Area River Regatta, enjoying our VIP Picnic Area with front-row views of speedboats racing along the Manatee River. Great food, refreshing drinks, co****le fun, and even a dog-friendly Pup Pit-Stop made it a day to remember! 🐾🚤

It was a beautiful weekend to celebrate community, connection, and care—exactly what Manatee Health is all about. Thanks to everyone who joined us and made it so special! 🌞✨

As Manatee Memorial’s 4th Freestanding Emergency Department (FED) progresses, we move closer to providing convenient emergency care for our growing community in northern Manatee County.

🎓 Congratulations to our Family Medicine Residency Graduates! ✨We’re proud to celebrate Manatee Memorial’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program’s recent Family Medicine Residency graduates—Daniel Barnebee, DO; Berline Estinoble, MD; and Christopher Topping, DO—who scored 41 points higher than the national average and achieved the 7th highest score in the State of Florida on the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) Board Exam. 📝

This accomplishment reflects their dedication, hard work, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Manatee Memorial’s GME Program remains dedicated to training the next generation of family physicians who will serve and strengthen our communities.
