Warm Thanksgiving Wishes!

As we enter this special season of gratitude and abundance, we hope you take time to enjoy the blessings of Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

In observance of the holiday, our office will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th. We will resume regular business hours on Monday, December 1, 2025.

❤️ Setting a New National Record, Right Here in Bradenton! ❤️

Manatee Memorial Hospital has set a national record — our Cardiac Catheterization Department successfully performed 10 mitral TEER (Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair) procedures in a single day, the most ever reported in the U.S., according to Abbott Laboratories. This minimally invasive procedure helps patients with leaky heart valves recover faster and get back to living their lives.

The milestone was made possible thanks to the skill of cardiologists Dr. Alessandro Golino, Dr. Gino Sedillo, and Dr. Eugene Parent, and our incredible Cath Lab and anesthesia teams. Their collaboration continues our legacy of pioneering minimally invasive heart care that shortens recovery times and improves patient outcomes. 👏

Tonight 24 years ago, 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.

2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning.

343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.

60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.

8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift.

It was the last day that fathers and mothers hugged their children, husbands kissed their wife, girlfriends hugged and kissed their boyfriend.

None of them saw past 10:00AM on September 11, 2001.

In one single moment life may never be the same, so live and enjoy the breaths you take today.

And tonight, before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

Thursday cases by Dr. Sedillo fixing massive pulmonary embolism.

-Patient presented with severe shortness of breath.
-Echocardiogram showed a large free-floating clot in the right atrium.
-Further evaluation revealed massive clots in both lung arteries.
-The clots were removed successfully and the patient is now feeling much better.
