Celebrating National Random Acts of Kindness Day is always a blast here at the ranch. This year we had a special booth set up with little bags of goodies and assorted treats, especially for our staff who work hard every day. A special shout out to our kindness ambassadors Beverly and Carol, who made it even more special. Giving back just because, always makes you feel good, WHY??? Because KINDNESS MATTERS!!!

On Do a Grouch a Favor Day, our community had a very special (and very grumpy) guest pop out of her trash can—Oscar the Grouch! She shuffled in with her signature sass, her shaggy green fur, and a whole lot of grouchy charm. Residents were delighted as Oscar spread her unique brand of humor, grumbling greetings and handing out “grouchy favors” with a wink. Even though she claimed she didn’t want any attention, she certainly knew how to steal the show! Laughter echoed through the halls as Oscar brought her lovable crankiness to life, turning an ordinary Monday into a trash‑tastic celebration everyone will remember.

Our seniors had a wonderful time celebrating Mardi Gras at our festive Happy Hour! The room came alive with bright purple, green, and gold décor, lively music, and plenty of beads to go around. Everyone enjoyed delicious snacks, refreshing drinks, and lots of laughter as we embraced the joyful spirit of New Orleans. From dancing and mingling to posing for fun photos, it was an afternoon filled with smiles, friendship, and “laissez les bons temps rouler!”—letting the good times roll.
