Bradford Optical has a new owner! Dr. Andrew Jones and Dr. Sheila Hastie are excited to announce the sale of Bradford Optical to Dr. Nicholas Pittman effective June 28th.

Dr. Pittman graduated from Missouri State University with degrees in physics and molecular biology. He went on to receive his doctorate from the Nova College of Optometry in 2013. Dr. Pittman completed his clinical internships entirely in the VA system, graduating with highest honors through each rotation. As a child with numerous eye problems, Dr. Pittman personally understands the role of vision in quality of life. He has experience in managing a wide range of ocular diseases including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and dry eyes. He has additional expertise fitting custom contact lenses for various corneal conditions, as well as experience in manufacturing eyeglass frames and lenses. He has been residing and practicing in the Upper Valley for nearly a decade, and is looking forward to serving Bradford and the surrounding community.

Dr. Pittman enjoys tennis, hockey, motorcycles, and spending plenty of time outdoors with his wife and two young children.

Patients are already being scheduled for Dr. Pittman at Bradford Optical. The hours remain the same: Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 - 5:00. To schedule an appointment, please call 802-222-4543.
