The Lakes Recovery

The Lakes Recovery Women's sober living located in Brainerd, MN. Growing up with addicts and alcoholics on both sides of our family, we saw an opportunity we couldn't miss out on.

Being living examples of the recovery programming we practice, is the best way to show up for the women we share a house with. There is always hope for the hopeless, and we at the Lakes Recovery will 9x out of 10 find the best characteristics in each person. With 40+ years of being bottom of the gutter junkies/alcoholics, somehow we found someone greater than ourselves, had enough prayers, and got ourselves into treatment one last time. Without sober living, all 3 of the owners would most likely be dead or relapsed today. Thanks for the hope others instilled in us.

Imagine gliding through snow-covered pines with lights twinkling above. Central Minnesota’s first Forest Ice Skating Trail could be right here at the Northland Arboretum!

We’ve already purchased the Zamboni, now we just need your help to make the last steps possible to make the magic happen. We are raising money for a water truck, enhanced lighting, and maybe even community skates!

If we raise enough this year, we’ll spend the winter season experimenting and perfecting the dream so that by next winter we are pros!

The day to take a breath and remind yourself that healing is possible.

Today is the day to choose yourself — your peace, your safety, your voice.
It’s the day to reach out for support, to allow others to stand beside you, and to know that you don’t have to face this journey alone.

Healing isn’t always loud or visible. Sometimes it’s choosing to get out of bed.
Sometimes it’s making a phone call.
Sometimes it’s just believing — even for a moment — that you deserve better days ahead.

We are accepting non perishable food items & grocery store gift cards & will distribute amongst the sober living community in Brainerd, as well as others in need.
