Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so thankful for the wonderful clients that I’ve gotten to work with this year. It’s always such an honor to witness a new life come into the world.
This year my husband and I were blessed to welcome our 3rd baby ourselves, and what a joy she has been! I’m grateful for God’s provision in this season and excited for the families I’ll have the privilege to support in the coming year. Wishing you all a peaceful, joy-filled holiday season surrounded by the ones you love. ✨

Postpartum visits are my favorite. I love supporting moms as they heal and adjust. Here are a few simple things that can help make the healing journey a little easier.

A few weeks ago, I saw a mom at a bustling outdoor Christmas market with a toddler and a baby who was 9 days old and I just wanted to take her back to her home, wrap her in a snuggly blanket with her baby, spoon feed her soup, and tell her to rest.

The way mothers care for themselves and are cared for by others in the early days of postpartum set her up for the months and YEARS that follow.

Being apart of this doula collective has been so fun and rewarding.

Next up we have our wonderful doula Jolet!

I am a wife and homeschooling mama, born and raised in the Brainerd Lakes Area. I have always been very interested in all things birth, even before I had my own children. After I had my first baby, I was so thankful to have had a doula with me during my pregnancy and labor, and a passion grew in me to be that light for other women during their births. In 2023 I decided to get professionally trained as a birth doula through DONA, (Doulas of North America). My hope is that I can help educate and empower women to have the birth they desire. It is an honor to walk along side expecting parents during such a beautiful time in their lives. I can’t wait to work with you & for you!

This little lady’s birth was such a testament to how our body knows just what to do during labor. Her mama was feeling warn down and tired after a long night of labor. After spending some time in the tub, she decided to get up and have a few contractions while standing, and gravity did the rest! Baby was in her mamas arms minutes later. ✨

Hello friends! I’m excited you’ve found my page. If we’ve never met, I’m Jolet. I’m a DONA trained doula, working my way towards certification. I became interested in doula work after having my first baby and realizing just how completely unprepared I was for the birth experience. I don’t know what I would have done without my doula by my side! Since then I have built such a passion for all things birth - pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
