Love yourself…

You tell everyone else:
“Give yourself grace.”
“It’s okay to rest.”
“You’re doing the best you can.”

But what do you tell yourself?

Self-love isn’t a switch you flip.
It begins with compassion.

And compassion starts with noticing the way you speak to yourself.

Noticing the judgment.
The pressure.
The impossible standards.

It’s not easy work.
But it is possible.

If you’re ready to develop a softer, more grounded relationship with yourself — I’m here to help.

Ever scroll and suddenly feel behind?

Like everyone else:
• Has more friends
• Looks better
• Is more confident

Comparison is loud.

But what you see online is a highlight reel — not the full story.

If social media is messing with your confidence, you’re not dramatic. You’re human.

Comparison is the thief of joy.

Therapy can help you:
• Build real self-esteem
• Feel more secure in who you are
• Stop tying your worth to likes or approval
• Manage anxiety and overthinking

You are more than your Instagram.

If you replay conversations in your head…
If you analyze texts before sending them…
If you worry you said “too much” or “not enough”…

You’re not dramatic.
You’re likely anxious.

So many young adults are high-functioning on the outside but internally exhausted.

Overthinking isn’t a personality flaw.
It’s a nervous system trying to prevent rejection.

Therapy isn’t just for crisis.
It’s for:
• Quieting the mental noise
• Building self-trust
• Feeling secure in relationships
• Setting boundaries without spiraling
• Not overanalyzing every interaction

Imagine feeling steady instead of constantly second-guessing yourself.

That’s possible.

Let’s work on building that inner steadiness.

Everyone’s recipe looks different.

Your toppings might be:
• movement
• music
• talking things out
• quiet time
• creativity

Just because school is hard right now doesn’t mean you’re lazy, unmotivated, or not trying.

Sometimes there are things underneath the surface like:
• anxiety
• stress
• social pressure
• feeling overwhelmed

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Support can make school—and life—feel a little more manageable.

Sometimes life gives us lemons… but healing isn’t about pretending they aren’t sour. 🍋

It’s about learning how to use what we’ve been given in a way that nourishes us.

Growth can look like:
• setting a boundary
• asking for support
• slowing down when life feels overwhelming

Little shifts can turn something bitter into something life-giving.

If you’re ready to start finding those small shifts, I’d be honored to support you.

A lot of people minimize their experiences.

“It wasn’t that bad.”
“Other people had it worse.”
“I should be over it.”

Trauma-informed care understands that healing isn’t about ranking pain.

It’s about understanding how experiences shaped:
• Your attachment patterns
• Your anxiety
• Your self-talk
• Your boundaries
• Your reactions in relationships

Sometimes what we call “overreacting” is actually a nervous system trying to protect you.

Trauma-informed therapy helps you:
• Feel safer in your body
• Build emotional regulation
• Make sense of your triggers
• Replace shame with compassion

You deserve support — no matter how “big” or “small” your experiences feel.

Mysa is a Swedish word that describes a feeling of warmth, comfort, coziness, and being at ease.

At Mysa Counseling, that feeling is at the heart of the work. Therapy should be a place where you can exhale—where you feel safe enough to slow down, settle in, and be fully yourself without judgment. This space was intentionally created to feel warm, cozy, and relaxing—a calm environment where the outside noise quiets and you can reflect, have meaningful conversations, and focus on your well-being.

Because when we feel safe and supported, it becomes easier to explore our experiences with compassion, grow through life’s challenges, and move toward the life we want.

I’m here to support you in finding your own version of mysa—whatever that looks like for you. 🤍

We are wired for connection.

And yet… relationships can feel incredibly complicated.

You can love someone deeply and still:
• Feel misunderstood
• Struggle with conflict
• Feel disconnected
• Repeat the same arguments
• Wonder why certain things trigger you so strongly

Relationship challenges don’t mean you chose the wrong partner.

Sometimes they mean you’re carrying old wounds, unmet needs, or unspoken expectations.

Awareness changes everything.

Therapy can help you better understand yourself — which changes how you show up in every relationship in your life.
