This three-hour experiential workshop explores the ancient practice of creating
magical talismans across cultures. Participants will learn how talismans have been used historically for protection, healing, prosperity, love, and spiritual development in traditions from Africa, Europe, Asia, and Indigenous cultures. Using Lexa Rosén "The Encyclopedia of Magical Ingredients" as the primary reference, participants will explore the symbolic properties of herbs, crystals, colors, charms, and ritual elements used in talisman construction. Students will then learn the traditional methods for assembling, activating, and maintaining a talisman, including meditation, candle magic, prayer, and invocation of spiritual allies such as ancestors, saints, or deities.

Participants will leave with both the knowledge and practical skills needed to craft their own talismans.

Transformative Restorative Yoga With Insightful Reading with Jason Macure, Jen Sharples
No Prior Yoga Experience Necessary. All Experience Level Are Welcome

The seasons are not the only thing that changes throughout the year. We change. Our paths meander through our lives, crossing over others, intersecting new opportunities, leaving things that no longer serve us. Yoga teaches us stillness. In that stillness we can witness this amazing process of change and growth within ourselves.

This 75 minute workshop will bring together Oracle Reading and Meditation through restorative yoga. This session will be hosted by Jason, and Jen Sharples. Jason is a 500hr certified yoga teacher and Jen is a Medium and the creator of the Oracle deck she will use for this workshop.

We ask participants to be prepared to ask one to three questions when your first reading begins. Take some time before the workshop to form deep diving questions about your path in life, love or career. Think about far reaching plans or goals, or deep felt questions of the heart.

The session will begin with an entry pose. Each person will have plenty of room so each reading will remain private between the Medium and you. Jen will begin with a reading and after a few moments she will move on to the next person, allowing you time to continue your restorative practice and meditate on your reading, much like a seed needs time to germinate before it can grow.

Midway through the session Jen will return to the first person and hold space for a second transformative reading. As you will have had ample time to consider and meditate on your first reading, It's entirely possible you have new questions, or the reading shifts direction.

Class will consist of five different postures. Each posture will be timed allowing Jen time to move from person to person and complete readings. Change is in there air, take some time for yourself and see what the future has in store for you! Please bring pillows or a blanket.
