About Amrita Murgasen, MS

Amrita obtained her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2016 from Nova Southeastern University. She began her journey interning in 2013 at Deborah Basedow Counseling while attending graduate school. In 2016, she began providing inpatient services on an acute/crisis stabilization unit. Amrita continues to provide inpatient care for child, adolescents and adults while working in the private practice setting. Her background specializes in therapy for individuals, couples, families, crisis stabilization , trauma , substance abuse, behavioral issues, coping skills, self-esteem and school issues.
