Agape Counseling Center is excited to announce the newest addition to our counseling team. Welcome to Shannalee Mask! She has availability for new patients and accepts most insurance! Call or email today to get scheduled.

Shannalee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CSW) in South Dakota. She attended Eastern Washington University for her Bachelor’s in Psychology and then Capella University for her Master’s of Social Work. She moved from Washington State to the Sioux Falls area in 2021. When she is not working with clients, she can be found spending time with her family and dogs, watching hockey, or going to community events.

Shannalee believes everyone has a unique set of strengths that can be utilized to overcome challenges and that reaching out for support demonstrates strength during difficult times. Her therapeutic experience includes working with complex trauma, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation/self harm, child and adolescent behavioral concerns, family conflict, and parenting challenges. She works with families and individuals ages 14 through adulthood.

Shannalee provides services utilizing client-centered and strengths-based approaches. Interventions and techniques she utilizes often include EMDR, cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, trauma-informed, and solution-focused theories. She prefers to use a combination of techniques to fit each client’s individual needs. She provides in-person and telehealth services.

Shannalee's therapeutic style and personality is to be empathetic and direct. She focuses on creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel supported and validated. Erica has worked in a variety of settings and positions, providing counseling to a wide range of individuals and families through her time in the field. She strives to offer insightful and compassionate perspective, creating an affirming, non-judgemental space for clients to process their experiences and develop practical tools to manage the challenges of life.

Erica is a licensed professional counselor of mental health (LPC-MH), Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with emphases in Family Studies and Social Work from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN and a master's degree in Counseling from the University of Colorado - Denver.

Erica is available to meet with adults, couples, families, children and adolescents. Some areas of focus include: adjusting to life changes, stress, anxiety, trauma, parenting and family challenges, complex medical conditions, addiction and substance use concerns. She utilizes an eclectic, strengths based approach, integrating elements of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, mind-body connection, and trauma processing strategies.

As guardian, and at times caregiver for her brother who has a developmental disability, Erica also has a passion for supporting individuals and families impacted by neurodivergent diagnoses. Outside of her practice, Erica fills her time with family and friends, enjoys traveling and participating in activities in the community.

Mandy Sieck
CSW-PIP

Mandy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CSW-PIP) in South Dakota. She attended Augustana College and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Government & International Affairs. She then went on to complete her Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Dakota.
She specializes in working with adolescents and adults struggling with life changes, social skills, anxiety, depression, and grief. Her approach is client-centered with a focus on the mind-body connection, humor, authenticity, and play. She strives to create a therapeutic relationship that is empathetic and affirming, which creates a safe space to explore experiences, feelings, and behaviors and cultivate insight and growth within individuals.

Mandy’s passion is using a strengths-based approach to help adolescents and young women build self- esteem, increase their ability to identify their own needs and advocate for themselves and grow to be comfortable living an authentic life.

Mandy has 13+ years of social work experience and has a genuine passion for her work. When she is not working, she enjoys quality time with friends and family, being active through hiking, yoga, or aerial silks, or curling up with her dog and a good book.
She offers rates through both private pay and by utilizing insurance benefits. This reflects her belief that therapy needs to be an affordable, accessible resource to everyone.

Counselor Spotlight-Lindsey Krueger CSW-PIP

Lindsey is a licensed clinical social worker (CSW-PIP) in the state of South Dakota with over 10 years of experience in the field. She received her Bachelor degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University, Mankato and her Masters of Social Work from the University of South Dakota. She has been providing counseling services to individuals and groups since 2016. She has experience working with trauma, chronic illness, grief, depression, anxiety, emotional intensity and a variety of life stressors. Lindsey also had the pleasure of implementing a therapy role for patients and families on a medical rehabilitation unit. On the unit, Lindsey assisted with adjustment to strokes, brain injuries, cancer, accidents and a variety of other health issues.

Lindsey has a unique understanding that sometimes life and emotions can become intense. She approaches therapy as a way to help strengthen individuals with the goal of no longer needing her services. Lindsey is eclectic in her approach and believes with the right support, anyone is capable of living their best life. She has utilized CBT, DBT, strength based, art, humor and a variety of other techniques to help people. Lindsey provides a safe environment for individuals to share and grow at their own comfort level while learning beneficial coping skills. That way when life turns into a hot mess, the individual doesn’t have to.

Outside of therapy, Lindsey is a wife and mother to four very strong-willed children. She loves spending time enjoying nature and creating a beautiful landscape on her acreage. When she isn’t chasing after her children, some of her favorite activities include planting flowers, cooking/baking, trying new activities and eating at local restaurants.

We are seeking motivated clinicians who are ready to build their practice and join a growing community of mental health providers in Brandon, SD. Client demand for services is higher than ever, and we’re looking for therapists to join our group and open their practices to our extensive client base. We are seeking all clinical backgrounds but have a heightened need for those interested in working with children and adolescents.

We have immediate openings for LMFT, LPC-MH, or PIP counselors who hold appropriate licensure in their professional field. The position is part-time with potential to build to full time status. If you have ever wanted to test the waters of private practice, the time is NOW! We are very busy and want to help you build your clientele.

At Agape Counseling Center you run your independent practice within our supportive infrastructure, allowing you to focus on client care while managing your business with our administrative and billing services. We provide a shared therapeutic workspace, along with business support such as administrative and billing services. We also market alongside you to bolster the number of referrals you’re bringing into your practice.

Private practice includes use of business name, professional web site, personal office, billing and notes system, use of billing personnel, and several other perks. Income will be based on a percentage of revenue generated. Hours are flexible and self managed. We are seeking the correct fit and will work to help develop the right candidate.

ABOUT US
• Independently owned and operated since 2013 with a thriving referral base and growing local community.
• We have provided superior mental healthcare services to hundreds of patients through an alliance with several local clinics and schools in and around our community.
• Annual income potential of $75,000-120,000 per year (based on 24-30 patient hours per week) through steady referrals from our network of providers and regional promotion.
• Determine how many clients you see per week, what types of clients you want to attract to your business, how to manage client treatment, and which insurance panels you accept.

Ideal candidates include highly motivated, licensed mental health providers with a wide range of experiences, who are open to learning and expanding their skill set and are interested in working in a team environment built on values of respect, authenticity, mindfulness, hard work, and collaboration. Due to the nature of insurance paneling, we are only able to contract with clinicians who have a fully independent clinical license.
