Carney Family Dentistry is a family owned dental practice that has been in the Brandon area for over 30 years. Doctors Daniel and Timothy Carney completed their dental school education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Both doctors also completed an additional year of hospital based General Practice Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Both doctors are well versed and highly skilled in all areas of General Dentistry. From teeth whitening, cosmetic restorations and crowns to root canals, extractions and dental implants, we offer a variety of treatment options to meet your dental needs. Here at Carney Family Dentistry, we strive to have a close, personal relationship with patients and treat patients the way that we would want to be treated. WE ARE HIRING!!!

We hate to see her go, but our awesome assistant Payten is having to leave us next month. Her husband is being stationed in New Mexico with the Air Force. Thank you for your service Thomas!!

Yet another challenging, but immediate gratification case. This young man had neglected his teeth for years, and unfortunately genetics played a part in this case. He cannot afford full coverage crowns at this time, but Dr. Daniel Carney was able to restore his smile at a fraction of the cost. Now, the patieht understands he will need crowns long-term, but the joy on the patient’s face as he left the office will stick around with us for a very long time!!!

These cases can be challenging, but so rewarding. This young man had a seizure and broke his front two teeth when he fell. He can’t afford crowns at this time, so Dr. Daniel Carney was able to work his magic with composite restorations. Seeing the patient smile as he left the office is what makes the daily grind worth it!!

Cosmetic Dentistry on a budget!!
The patient hasn’t liked her front two teeth and admits she has not felt confident in her smile in quite a while. She could not afford Veneers or other costly cosmetic restorations, so Dr. Daniel Carney improvised. For a fraction of the cost utilizing composite materials, this patient got her confidence back!! She wanted to keep the diastema (space between the teeth) because it reminded her of her father. These are some of our favorite cases!!

Happy Birthday (a day early) to Dr. Daniel Carney!! He told us he didn’t want a cake since it didnt fit his diet but that doesn’t mean we don’t want cake!!

Big shout out to these 3 on National Receptionists’ Day!! Lindsey (left) joined our team 2 months ago and has exceeded our expectations and the patients love her. Debbie (middle) is the heart and soul of our office and makes the practice run. She’s also married to Dr. Tim Carney and the mother of Dr. Daniel Carney!! Payten (right) has become a jack of all trades. She started in our front office, but has transitioned to an assistant role and turns out, she’s a darn good assistant!! Our practice would not be what it is without these fantastic ladies!!
