When you show love, it always comes back to you💝! Today we loved on the neighbors in our community and what’s love without Elvis? We danced, laughed, and read our Valentines cards from the Northwest Rankin Beta club. 💕These cards and candy was truly a hit.

This month’s “road trip” was to Louisiana in honor of Mardi Gras month - and what a fascinating trip it was! 💜💛💚

Our residents enjoyed some of the best Louisiana cuisine, from classic Cajun flavors to sweet Southern treats, and watched insightful videos that gave us a taste of the rich culture, music, and traditions of Mardi Gras.

There's nothing better than traveling the country together - even if it's right from the comfort of home! Laissez les bons temp rouler! 🎭✨

Turning Up the Music and Turning Back the Clock

Our 90-Plus Club Dancing Queen, had one of this month's birthday boys, out on the dance floor with her, proving that age is just a number and fun never goes out of style. 💃🏼👑🕺🥳🥰

The Connections Family Night “Mardi Gras”theme was a night to remember. We brought New Orleans parades to Castlewoods. The neighbors enjoyed Mardi Gras music, food, and laughter in true Mardi Gras Fashion.
The parade opened with the Grand Marshall , Wendy Brown, CNA, and a few of our neighbors and staff parading down Connections Blvd.
Dr. Bridges and care partners can be seen throwing beads, gifts, and candy into the crowds and all were smiles. The parade ended with the crowning of Connections King and Queen.
Thank you for the family and friends that attended our Family Night. We can’t wait for next months family fun.

Our residents had such a wonderful time at our Mardi Gras-themed Family Night!🎭
💜It was so special to celebrate with family and friends, enjoy the festive atmosphere, with a little taste of New Orleans cuisine, and share lots of smiles and laughter. From the Mardi Gras fun to the great company, it truly was a night enjoyed by all! 🎉✨

Our scenic ride on the Natchez Trace was none short of spectacular . What an enjoyable ride for all. We rode on the Spillway, went on to the Natchez Trace and ended on Hwy 25 on our way back home. Fun times in the Connections Community 🚐🌊
