** Legislative Update: For many years in the Legislature, there has been a push to support our independent pharmacists across Mississippi. Frankly, this effort has been blocked numerous times. Our independent pharmacists are the real folks in all our local communities helping fill the prescription needs of the People of Mississippi. I’ve traveled our State and I know our local pharmacists are the backbone of local towns and economies. I strongly encourage the Legislature to come together and pass meaningful PBM reform legislation this year that will support our local pharmacists and keep them in business for the future of Mississippi’s local communities.
