Who We Are ​ As a parent of two children with disabilities, Executive Director and Founder of K2 Escape Inc., Dr. Essie Johnson, knows the importance of providing quality care and services. Dr. Johnson has over 18 years of experience with working with students and adults with disabilities. Established in 2014, K2 Escape, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides high quality services to individuals with disabilities. K2 Escape’s mission is to provide a variety of high-quality programs and services that will assist, educate, empower, and/or employ children and adults with disabilities. ​ Why We are Different ​ K2 Escape, Inc. business model focuses on finding the right person for each individual consumer and to treat everyone with kindness, love, and respect. That is why over 90% of our staff members currently work or have prior experience in an educational setting with students with disabilities. We focus on learning as much as we can about our consumers to maximize our services. As a result, parents and consumers that work with us, love us and continue to seek out our services
