We hope you will join us Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Noon EST for our first PPCC Firefly Chat of the year.

During this Firefly Chat, a parent caregiver and a hospice social worker will discuss the emotional, spiritual, physical and logistical challenges caregivers encounter every day. Information will be shared about creating a network of support to help improve quality of life and bring joy to the child and family. In addition, the presenters will highlight resources and share tips for families striving to create a nurturing and inclusive home environment.

This event is free of charge, but registration is required.

Waves of Gratitude, Ct Hospice's staff appreciation program was held earlier this week at Anthony's Ocean View. New employees to those with more than forty year sevice were celebrated. Congratulations to top honorees, Linda Laucella, Nicole Michaud, and Debbie St. John for more than forty years of service the First Hospice in America. More pictures to follow!

Connecticut Hospice staff and volunteers always give big when asked! A recent clothing drive for cold weather outerwear (hats, scarves, gloves/mittens), was conducted in anticipation of the frigid forecasted weather.

This past Tuesday, CT Hospice Multicultural Coordinator, Monica Montero, delivered the huge collection of items to the Community Soup Kitchen of New Haven, and not a day too soon.
