"I was skeptical at first about the home health nurse going to start home visits as I'd never had any reason for this prior to my now drastic life changing event. But from their first visits, both from the PTs and the nurse, they proved to be a game changer in both dealing with and treatment of my health problems. There are many instances of the nurses finding and/or catching problems with my meds and contacting the hospital/doctors resulting in a change in my meds.
These were things the doctors had missed, some being life-threatening had the home health nurse not caught and pursued. They were ALWAYS very courteous and professional and very knowledgeable. I have learned to trust them."

This is an example of how Atlas Home Health and Therapy is a great partner and a bridge between patients and medical providers as we get a firsthand look at what the patient's living situation is like and what exact medications the patients are truly taking. Many times, medical providers are limited as they are accidentally not provided a complete and accurate medication list which is critical to ensuring the patient gets the help they need and to prevent any medication interactions etc.

It is so rewarding to be able to build that bond and trust with our patients and their families. Our team has a passion for home health care and it shows in the quality of care they provide to our patients.
