🚨 Flu Alert in Taney County! 🚨

Taney County has seen rise in flu cases—with 115 new cases confirmed (48 of these new cases are children 14 and under) just in the past week, bringing the season's total to 497.

TCHD recommends that everyone 6 months and older get their flu shot to protect themselves and others, especially those at higher risk of severe illness, like pregnant women and people with certain health conditions.

🧼 Practice good hygiene to stay safe:
-Wash your hands frequently with soap & water (or use hand sanitizer)
-Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing
-Avoid touching your face (eyes, nose, mouth)
-Limit contact with others if you're sick

If you get sick, stay home and rest. Drink plenty of fluids, and avoid contact with others until you're fever-free for at least 24 hours.
