You can’t make this stuff up! On a recent trip to Pennsylvania a parrot took refuge under our car. After hours of coaxing it out, the parrot was wrapped in a warm towel and hand fed you guessed it…OWL bars! It was rescued by the local animal control team and we have a story we will never forget.

We can’t believe it’s been seventeen years since we had our own wedding plans on our minds. But, here we are husband and wife making energy bars to share with y’all. The cost of shipping is through the ROOF! follow along to see just how we deliver OWL Energy Bars to our most local retail shop, the world famous . Not everyone realizes that our bars are handcrafted by Alli and Seth right here in Brattleboro, Vermont. But also we self distribute our products however we see fit, may that be UPS, US mail, courier service, or with a cart hitched to one of our two beloved Bernese Mountain Dogs. Working direct with our customers, no middle man, stacked vertical integration, and no outside investors is how we have been keeping the dream alive for fifteen years now. We are so grateful to be here and always down for some fun along the way!

Sorrel and Isaac have done a tremendous job procuring local and specialty foods and crafts to add to their own value added farm goods and bakery items. As locals (and regulars ourselves) to this farm store, to say we are thrilled to be featured on their shelves is an understatement. Hoot hoot to a promising start to 2026
