The Tuesday dayshift Paramedics and crew were testing out new video laryngoscope technology last week. We strive to ensure our equipment is top of the line so that we can extend the best possible care to our patients!

A2 was called out to Guilford today along with Guilford Volunteer Fire Dept., for a trauma patient requiring immediate evacuation to a trauma center. A landing zone was established in a nearby field, where our critical care crew handed over care to UMass Memorial LifeFlight.

Our Utility 1 has been requested and is deploying with a warming shelter to Alstead, NH for an active water rescue operation. Our mobile simulation lab seconds as a warming/command shelter for complex incidents.

Members of our team are in Burlington this weekend absorbing all they can at the Vermont EMS Conference at the University of Vermont! Education, trade show, and lots of networking. We are happy to be here to build our skills alongside so many Vermont EMS providers.

We are standing by for this weekend’s 104th Harris Hill Ski Jump! Athletes from around the world are convening in Brattleboro for some jaw dropping excitement, including the Junior World Qualifier! A-9 is out providing EMS standby coverage both days.

A-7 came across this scene on I-91 Northbound in Brattleboro at approximately 0730 this morning while returning from an emergency call. The crew used A-7 to block and shut down both lanes of the highway to protect the scene while they evaluated those involved until additional units were dispatched. There were no injuries. The scene was turned over to Brattleboro Fire.
