If you've had cataract surgery & notice that your vision isn't as clear as it initially was post surgery, you may be ready for the YAG procedure. Up to 80% of cataract surgery patients will need to undergo this procedure to remove a layer of cells that form over the lens implant. This doesn't require a second cataract surgery, but is performed in office with a laser. Typically, a 5 minute procedure done without the need of sedation or post operative eye drops will have you seeing well again in about 24 hours. If you are experiencing cloudy vision & glare when driving at night, call to schedule a dilated eye exam to see if your eyes are ready for YAG laser.
