I am a physical therapist, myofascial release therapist, burn scar massage therapist, yoga teacher, exercise scientist, personal trainer, and group exercise leader. Here I am practicing my first Pilates class truly to myself. When you take a course/class at the gym or on the tv, these instructors have put in a lot of time and thought to get the right exercises and words to make your class special. This is my first attempt. Thank recorded it so that you may “enjoy” what Pilates entails as well as get in a seated exercise class. Please remember to do only what feels right for you. I have been enjoying this PBS show. Please search for it and enjoy. If you want it more heart pumping, perform the movements quicker. I prefer to just relax and follow the calming voice of the leader though.
