It was a pleasure presenting to the next generation of safety professionals at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Engineering Technology 399 - Advanced Safety class last night. We discussed the qualities and attributes of successfull safety programs and safety businesses. It was a great discussion!

St. Martin Parish residents, take advantage of this opportunity to properly dispose of some of your common household hazardous waste.

The Household Hazardous Waste Day will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 8:00 A.M. to Noon at Park Hardy, 1290 Rees Street, Breaux Bridge. This event is available to St. martin parish residents only. Therefore, you will be asked to provide proof of residency (driver’s license or any government-issued identification will be accepted).
Parish President Chester Cedars acknowledges Waste Connections Bayou, the City of Breaux Bridge, the Library Board of Control, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Breaux Bridge Police Department for their invaluable assistance and contributions.

Give yourself enough time and try to be patient with buses, traffic guards, and possible long lines. Here's a friendly reminder of when you are supposed to stop for a school bus.

Calling all parents and babysitters! Summer break for the kids is here. We all know incidents can happen in the blink of an eye. Parents, put your minds at ease and let ARLA Safety & Inspection teach your babysitter First Aid / CPR / AED for Infants and Children through our HSI Pediatric Plus training program. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of First Aid, as well as how to perform CPR in the unfortunate event if something happens.
