As a bodyworker and massage therapist, I carry a deep belief — human beings need touch.
Not as a bonus or indulgence.
We need it the way we need warmth and oxygen.
Touch orients you. It grounds you in your body. It lets your nervous system settle.
And yet… this isn’t a conversation I hear people having.
How much touch do you actually need?
Are you getting enough?
Do you even know what “enough” feels like?
There isn’t a right amount.
Some people need daily contact.
Others need spaciousness and very intentional touch.
The point isn’t comparison — it’s awareness.
