Postpartum is a sacred, vulnerable time for Mothers and their babies. There is a phrase that I wish I remembered who said it which goes, “what the baby needs, the mother needs.” Babies need love, touch, nourishment, patience, and gentle care and so do their Mothers. This is the focus of my postpartum doula care. New Mothers need to be cared for and held as they learn to care for and hold their new babes. I’d love to be part of your postpartum care team. I’m so excited to announce this class! The Period Positive Workshop is for tween girls and their grownup (mom, aunt, grandmother, dad, etc!) We will discuss lots of topics to get them started on their journey in a gentle and age-appropriate way! Girls will build and take home a personalized period kit.

It’s wild to be in the part of motherhood where I can bring my kids to the park and actually sit and read. This book was on my “finish in 2025” list but I failed and that’s ok. I’m almost finished and I have so many thoughts to share. Stay tuned.

I journaled a lot in 2024 but fell off the wagon last year. I’d love to start again in 2026. Wanna join me? It doesn’t have to be perfect or poetic, just beautifully and authentically you.

Here are a few examples to get you started.

* The Morning Pages (Write 3 pages first thing in the morning just stream of consciousness)
* Bullet points (Bullet point out your thoughts - full sentences not required)
* 100 desires / dreams (What do you want most out of life? Everything from the very doable to the most outlandish dreams! Then start with the doable ones and think forward about how you can start to accomplish the big ones!)
* Gratitude (Everything from the way this pen feels on your paper to the colors of the sunset and the way your baby’s milk breath smells. Avoid toxic positivity and just lean into what your body and soul really feel grateful for)
* Letters to yourself (Write letters to yourself - past, present, and/or future. What do you want these versions of yourself to know. Tell her with love and compassion)
* Life inventory (Take an inventory of your life and reflect on significant experiences you’ve had)
* Personal inventory (List your strengths and how they have helped you throughout your life)
