Hello Everyone,

I’d like to introduce myself. I am Michael, the new Executive Director of Sales & marketing at The One You Love Homecare. I am not from industry and I’d like to share why I joined this wonderful non-medical homecare agency.

First, I had a bad experience with my mom when it came to caregiving and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Secondly, I've been a Sales Executive for over 20 years in the eCom and CPG industry and one day I just felt that what I was doing did not have any meaning. Hence, I started applying for positions at charities, foundations, basically any company that was providing something positive toward society but didn't have any luck. Then, I came across Rob & Pam at The One You Love Homecare and realized that that were on the same wavelength regarding wanting to do good. After interviewing their caregivers and patients, I also realized it was a family environment with a lot of people who truly care and love their jobs. Combined with the experience I had with my mom, I realized this is where I needed to be. I quit my job and I am not really taking a salary because I really believe in what we are doing. I believe we really care about senior care and I wanted to be part of something special.
