CoolSculpting is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that freezes away your fat cells to RESHAPE your figure. But what does it feel like?

This is a common question we get from patients considering CoolSculpting. First of all, the treatment should not feel especially painful. However, this doesn’t mean that it’s not a little uncomfortable or a strange feeling. The applicator will feel very cold for the first few minutes of treatment before a numbing sensation sets in. After that, you should not feel any discomfort. We like to compare it to the sensation of having an ice pack applied to your skin.

Treatment time is usually around 30 minutes, but this can vary based on the area being addressed. One of the major benefits of CoolSculpting is that there is no downtime. You can continue your regular activities immediately following treatment.
