We chose to bring everyone together for one combined meeting this time — and it resulted in our largest turnout yet! The evening was filled with meaningful training, well-deserved caregiver recognition, fun surprises, and exciting giveaways.

We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Kaitlyn Defoe to Director of Business Operations at Touching Hearts at Home!

Kaitlyn has been an essential part of Touching Hearts for more than six years, during which she has excelled in multiple roles across the organization. She has served as Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Scheduler, and Office Manager, consistently demonstrating exceptional performance in each position. Her dependability, compassion, attention to detail, results-driven mindset, and strong teamwork have made her an invaluable member of our team.

Kaitlyn’s dedication and loyalty over the past six years have been nothing short of extraordinary. She has the ability, determination, and heart to accomplish great things—and we are incredibly proud to see her step into this well-deserved leadership role. With this promotion, Kaitlyn will also be transitioning from part-time to full-time, further strengthening her leadership presence within the organization.

In her new role as Director of Business Operations, Kaitlyn will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, using her deep experience and insight to help guide us to the next level. We have no doubt that the sky is truly the limit for this rising star.

Touching Hearts at Home is proud to announce the promotion of Adriaunna Fisher to Director of Workforce Operations.

Adriaunna has been a vital part of our organization for 4 ½ years. She first joined us as a Recruiter, later transitioning to Office Manager in 2023. Since stepping into that role, she has consistently demonstrated her remarkable ability to lead—not only our internal administrative team but also our incredible team of 140 Caregivers.

Adriaunna has a natural leadership presence that commands respect while remaining thoughtful, kind, and approachable. She leads with integrity, collaborates with others, and is always open to new ideas—often bringing creative and effective suggestions that elevate the overall success of the business.

In her new role as Director of Workforce Operations, Adriaunna will continue overseeing Interviewing, Hiring, and Training new caregivers. She will also remain our Scheduling Manager while taking on expanded HR responsibilities, developing new training opportunities, and ensuring that every client receives an exceptional experience.

Beyond her professional excellence, Adriaunna is a devoted mother to her daughters, Jaylen and Sunny. Through her daily actions, she exemplifies strength, resilience, and leadership—showing her girls what it means to be a strong and capable woman.

Bryan and Haley have lived in Middle Tennessee their entire lives and are dedicated to setting the standards of excellence in the industry.
