Kristen Murphey from our Lorain program and Ashley Higgins from our Lima program educated community partners on the benefits of identifying home health care needs to keep patients out of the hospital with medication management and disease process education. The goal: To help patients return to their baseline of independency in their own home.

This Veteran’s Day, our Compassus hospice team in DeKalb, IL, had the privilege of celebrating and honoring resident veterans at Aperion Care DeKalb.

Compassus Hospice Care Coordinator Regie Peterson, Hospice Care Coordinator Kevin McGee, Director of Clinical Services Katherine Scott, Area Director of Clinical Operations and Market Executive Ann Ovsak and Bereavement Coordinator Joseph Agnello presented veterans John Debates Jr., Larry Gowin, Stanley Croom and Robert Andrew with gifts of appreciation.

Congratulations to our Providence at Home with Compassus hospice teams in Mission Viejo, CA, for a recent successful AI tool implementation to assist caregivers during the IDT process.

Along with learning Compassus' electronic medical record system, our new joint venture programs launched AI support for interdisciplinary team meetings which greatly improves teammate satisfaction by decreasing the amount of time it takes to create IDT notes.
