The IMAGINE Project is working to bring massage therapy and acupuncture into standard cancer care through real-world implementation. Led by co-Principal Investigators, Dr. Jun Mao and Dr. Kelly McConnell, their goal is to reach as many patients as possible with these evidence-based protocols.

I’m honored and excited to share that I’ve been elected to serve as both a Board Member and Delegate for the Missouri Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association!

Massage therapy has had a huge impact on my life, and being able to give back to the profession that helped me so much means the world to me. I’m grateful to the members of the Missouri AMTA community for trusting me with this opportunity.

A big thank you to everyone who voted, supported, and encouraged me along the way. I’m looking forward to representing Missouri, supporting our massage therapists, and helping continue to grow and strengthen our profession.

Big Changes in 2026

I’m excited to share some big news — Bodywork By JD is moving at the end of this month to a new, more centralized location that’s even more convenient for you!
Starting February 1st, I’ll be seeing clients at:

The Gathering Place
12140 Lackland Rd
St. Louis, MO 63146

The Gathering Place has been a trusted massage therapy school in the community for over 20 years, and I’m thrilled to be part of their space. You’ll find the new location easily accessible just off the Page Extension near Westport Plaza, with plenty of parking and a peaceful atmosphere.

I will still have the second office in Brentwood.

To celebrate the move, I’m offering $20 off your next appointment at the new location in February!
