Social media is a big part of teen life, and for many parents, a big source of worry📱💭

While social media can offer connection and belonging, teens’ developing brains make them especially sensitive to comparison, validation, sleep disruption, and emotional overwhelm.

In our latest blog, we explore:
✨ Why social media impacts teens differently than adults
✨ Mental health risks parents should be aware of
✨ How screen time affects sleep, mood, and self-esteem
✨ 4 practical ways parents can help teens build a healthier relationship with social media

This isn’t about fear or banning apps (hey, we all love a good TikTok or Instagram scroll!). Instead, it’s about balance, boundaries, and open conversation. When teens feel supported instead of monitored, they’re more likely to develop self-awareness and resilience online.

Watching your teen have a panic attack can feel scary and helpless, especially when you’re not sure how to help without making it worse. 🤍

The truth is, your presence matters more than perfect words. Staying calm, offering safety, and using simple grounding tools can help your teen feel supported in moments that feel overwhelming and out of control.

In our latest blog, our clinician Hannah shares:
✨ What panic attacks look like in teens
✨ What actually helps during the moment
✨ How to support your teen afterward
✨ When it might be time to seek extra support

You don’t have to have all the answers! Showing up with steadiness and compassion is already doing more than you know.

The holidays are supposed to feel joyful, but for many people they can feel heavy. And if that’s you, you’re not doing anything wrong. 🤍

Between family dynamics, grief, financial pressure, exhaustion, and unmet expectations, this season can stir up more than we’re prepared for.

👉You’re allowed to feel mixed emotions.
👉You’re allowed to need boundaries.
👉You’re allowed to celebrate differently (or not at all!).

In our latest blog, we explore why the holidays can feel so hard and offer compassionate ways to care for yourself when everything feels like too much. You don’t have to force joy or pretend you’re okay. Being human is enough🫶🏻

🚨Group Alert!!

🐉 Story telling is one of the most powerful ways to help a teenager understand new concepts and more importantly, begin to integrate thought concepts into opportunities for self-exploration and growth.

👤Our group therapist creates a story line that each of our group therapy participants get to actively participate in where that storyline goes. This participation is what is called role playing.

Parenting is beautiful - and it can also feel impossibly heavy when you’re struggling with your own mental health.

If this season feels overwhelming, you’re not failing. You’re human. And you’re doing the best you can with what you have. 💛

In our newest blog, we’re sharing compassionate, realistic ways to keep parenting through the hard moments. From honoring your own emotions to finding tiny moments of connection with your kids, this post reminds you that good parenting isn’t about having it all together. It’s about presence, repair, and showing up with the love you have that day.

If you need a place to feel supported, grounded, and cared for as you navigate both parenting and your own mental health, our team at Replenish Counseling is here for you.

💬 Coming Spring 2026:
Replenish Counseling is launching a new Interpersonal Process Group led by Danny Xu! Enrollment opens December 8th.

✨ If your relationships feel harder than they should, there’s usually more going on beneath the surface. It’s the unspoken patterns (how we protect ourselves, how we seek connection) that shape our experiences the most.

That’s where the magic of group therapy comes in. It’s one of the few places where we can slow down, explore how we show up with others, and receive honest, compassionate feedback in real time.

If you’ve ever wondered why you over-accommodate, avoid conflict, feel unseen, or struggle to ask for what you need… this kind of work can be life-changing.

💙If you’re craving deeper connection or want to understand your relationship patterns in a supportive, growth-focused space, this might be your next step. Send us a message to learn more! We’d love to help you find your place in the group.

🧡 Grief doesn’t pause for the season. If this Thanksgiving feels nothing like it “should,” you’re not alone.

Holidays can bring back memories of the last time things felt whole - before the diagnosis, the loss, the empty chair now sitting at the table.

Grief can make familiar traditions feel foreign, and simply getting through the day can feel like enough. If you’re longing for what was or dreading what’s ahead, our therapist Dominique is here to let you know that nothing is wrong with you.

You’re allowed to feel it all: the ache, the gratitude, the numbness, even moments of unexpected joy. Grief isn’t about “moving on.” It’s about learning to carry what (and who) you’ve lost.

If this holiday feels tender, give yourself permission to soften, to honor your person in new ways, or to step away from traditions that feel too heavy this year.

And if you need support, our team at Replenish Counseling is here to walk with you. ✨🫶

Our Mission

Replenish Her Counseling was named for the mission to help replenish and restore the emptiness that happens when a client constantly pours into others, and rarely gets poured into themselves.
