Most of my time I’m writing a love letter here to my clients, but today this is a love letter to you:
The practitioners, the business owners, the people in the process of building something they’re proud of.
As I settle more into my confidence and shed the layers of imposter syndrome, I’ve come to realize something truly meaningful: my client retention rate is something I’m incredibly proud of.
When I look at my analytics and statistics, I see how loyal and committed my clients are, and it’s both humbling and inspiring.
So why is that? It all comes down to the little things that create a meaningful experience.
I make sure my space is spotless and welcoming because cleanliness builds trust and comfort.
Beyond that, I strive to create an environment free of judgment or pressure, where clients feel valued and respected no matter their budget.
What I cherish most is the authenticity of our interactions. It’s never about perfection; it’s about embracing who you are and feeling good in your own skin. My goal has always been to support healing and self-acceptance, not to impose unrealistic ideals.
Ultimately, my commitment to genuine care, a judgment-free space, and a focus on my clients’ well-being has fostered trust and loyalty. That, more than anything, is why people keep coming back.
If you’re building a business or a clientele right now, my biggest advice is to show up with everything you have and then some.
Stay late hours to clean. People notice.
Be vulnerable and share your story. People appreciate relatability. To be seen is to be loved.
Learn to ask people, “Do you need me to hold space, do you need feedback, or do you need advice?” Most of the time, people already know what they need better than you do. You don’t have to fix your clients; you just need to be there for them.
You don’t need the best equipment or the most expensive products. What you really need is one amazing niche.
For me, mine is my hands and my words of affirmation. People come back time and time again for my facial massage and my ability to make them feel comfortable exactly where they are.
Go the extra mile when you can. I know you’re tired, and you have a life outside of this business. But when you have extra to give, give it all you can. You have no idea what an extra moment or small kindness can do for someone.
And don’t forget to give back to yourself. In all of that giving and accommodating, remember that you also need that same love and kindness returned to you tenfold.
