We are currently collecting Easter candy donations for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Bangor Area Recovery Network (BARN)!

If you’d like to help make this event special for the kids in our community, please consider donating individually wrapped Easter candy. Every donation helps us fill eggs and create a fun day for families.

The BARN offers a beginner American Sign Language (ASL) group every Friday from 10:30–11:30 AM!

This beginner-friendly group is a great opportunity to start learning how to communicate with Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. The group is led by one of our volunteers, and everyone is welcome to come learn and practice together.

Today we recognize Black Balloon Day, a day to remember and honor the lives lost to overdose and addiction. Black balloons serve as a powerful symbol of remembrance, grief, and awareness for the families and communities affected by substance use.

At the Bangor Area Recovery Network (BARN), we stand with those who are grieving, those who are struggling, and those who are working toward recovery every day. Addiction affects so many lives, but recovery is possible—and no one has to face it alone.

Today we remember the ones we have lost, while continuing to support those still fighting and those finding their way to recovery.

🖤 If you are struggling, know that help and support are here.
🖤 If you are in recovery, we celebrate your strength.
