β˜€οΈ Your prescription for the weekend? A walk.

With temperatures climbing into the 60s this weekend, it's the perfect excuse to get outside. A regular walk can help lower blood pressure, boost your mood, ease stress, improve sleep, and give your joints some much-needed love.

Whether it's a short stroll around the block or a longer wander along the river, your body and your brain will thank you.

Lace up and enjoy a beautiful weekend.

Today is Medical Billers Day, and we want to give a huge shoutout to our Business department! πŸ’™

Behind every appointment, every insurance question, and every patient who needs help finding financial assistance, there's a dedicated team making it work. They navigate the complex world of healthcare billing so our patients and providers don't have to face it alone.

Right now this team is going above and beyond -- cross-training, learning new systems, and tackling improvement projects, all while showing up every day for our patients and our community. We are so grateful for you.

Happy Medical Billers Day to a team that truly keeps the lights on! πŸ₯

March 25-31 is National Physicians Week, and we're taking a moment to celebrate the doctors who show up for our community every day and every night.
From the emergency room to the operating table, from family medicine appointments to specialty care, our physicians bring expertise, compassion, and dedication to every patient they serve. And behind the scenes, we're supported by physicians you may never meet in person -- radiologists, peer reviewers, and medical oversight for our lab and pharmacy -- whose work is just as essential to the care you receive.
To every physician who is part of the Three Rivers team: thank you. We're grateful for the skill and heart you bring to this community.
πŸ₯ Happy National Physicians Week!

March is National Nutrition Month, and we asked some of our providers to share how nutrition plays a role in the care they provide. First up, a perspective from therapist Jessica Keeler, LMFTA:

"Some foods support brain function and improve mental clarity, while others can contribute to brain fog and poor concentration. By including healthy, whole foods from the earth in our diets, like those our ancestors once ate, we can improve our mental clarity, focus, and strengthen our communication and emotional regulation.
Start by asking yourself which foods feel meaningful to you and your culture. What foods are significant to your heritage? Learning the history of your people’s traditional foods can help guide you toward more nourishing and intentional eating."

Representing Three Rivers at the Northwest Rural Health Conference! 🌟

Several members of our team traveled to Spokane last week to attend the annual Northwest Rural Health Conference, and two of them took the stage to share some work we're excited about.

COO Jamie Boyer and Quality Director German Meza presented on our Bridge to Excellence program, highlighting the improvements we've made and the journey behind them. The session drew a sizable crowd with great engagement and thoughtful questions from attendees across the region.

Also representing Three Rivers at the conference were Board Secretary Leslie McNamara, CNO Tina Smith, Assistant CNO Karen Hurley, and Interim CFO Antone Eek.

We're proud of this team and grateful for every opportunity to share what rural healthcare can look like when people are committed to doing it well.
