Our Quality Department, Quality Council, Medical Staff, and Infection Prevention teams work behind the scenes to track patient safety metrics, review satisfaction feedback, monitor best practices and standards of care, and identify opportunities to do better. Through peer review, infection control protocols, and ongoing quality improvement work, they help ensure that every patient who comes through our doors receives care that meets the highest standards -- not just today, but consistently over time.

A healing environment doesn't happen by accident. It takes a dedicated team working every single day to make sure our facility is clean, safe, and ready to care for our community.

Our Maintenance, Environmental Services, Laundry, and Central Supply teams do work that is easy to overlook and impossible to do without. They keep our floors clean and our operating rooms sterile. They make sure walkways are clear in the winter and equipment is running properly year-round. They ensure that inpatients have fresh linens and clean, comfortable rooms. They stock and sterilize the instruments our clinical teams depend on to provide care safely. They lead our fire drills and help assess our work environment so that staff are properly supported — right down to the ergonomics of the chair at a nursing station.

This is the foundation that everything else is built on. Thank you for the care you put into every detail. 🙏

This week is Patient Experience Week, and at Three Rivers Hospital and Three Rivers Family Medicine, that's a celebration that belongs to everyone.

From the moment a patient walks through our doors to the moment they head home, dozens of people play a role in making that experience safe, comfortable, and healing. This week, we're spotlighting the teams that make it happen: our clinic providers and staff, nursing and acute care, emergency and surgery teams, lab and radiology, behavioral health and rehab therapy, maintenance and facilities, front desk and scheduling, and the administrative backbone that keeps it all running.

Every single one of these roles matters. Every one of them is part of why our patients choose to stay close to home for their care.

Tomorrow, April 25, is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day - a great reminder that our medication disposal kiosk is here year-round for the community!

Located just inside our main lobby, the kiosk accepts expired or unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and even pet medications. No syringes, inhalers, or liquids, please.

The lobby is open at 507 Hospital Way in Brewster from Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Learn more at threerivershospital.net/services/medication-disposal.
