The hospital is an acute care hospital and has been a part of the Brewton, Alabama community for over sixty years. Brewton, is a city that has twice been recognized as one of the 100 best towns in America. Nestled within the historic Deep South just an hours drive from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, Brewton is a city of 5,500 residents who enjoy a quality of life that is both laid back and friendly. At D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital, we strive to make your experience coming here and being here as pleasant as possible. The hospital's facilities include an eight bed intensive care unit; a 24 hour emergency room; general medical, surgical and pediatric services; and a women & infants (OB) unit. In addition, D.W McMillan offers programs and support to area citizens through health education.

D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital Nurse Leaders are proud to participate in the Career Fair at W.S. Neal High School, sharing information about the many rewarding careers available in healthcare right here in our community.

From nursing and laboratory services to radiology, and beyond, we love talking with students about the pathways that can lead to meaningful, purpose-driven careers.
