Our community has had a truly special few days spent with the students of Briarcliff Middle School. It began with our collaboration with Ms. Mazza and her 6th grade class through a weekly Book Club and Pen Pal program we’ve been building over the past several weeks. Residents and students have been reading the same book and exchanging handwritten letters, sparking meaningful connections and thoughtful conversations across generations.

This week, the experience culminated in a beautiful appreciation ceremony honoring our residents and giving students and residents the opportunity to finally meet in person. We were also delighted to welcome Ms. White and her 8th grade public speaking students, who shared original poems and filled our community with smiles.

These past few days have been a heartfelt reminder of the power of intergenerational connection and the lasting impact of bringing generations together.

The day was filled with laughter, music, and festive cheer. Our Culinary Director, Leah, and her talented team outdid themselves—treating everyone to delicious appetizers, a delightful main course, and stunning desserts. With glasses clinking, conversations flowing, and smiles all around, the celebration couldn’t have been more perfect.

A lively performance by Gunsmoke kept spirits high, and a special visit from Santa added an extra touch of holiday wonder—bringing joy to all who attended.
