APPLE PIE OVERNIGHT OATS
If you are like me and LOVE apple pie, you will love my Apple Pie Overnight Oats. This is an excellent breakfast or snack choice as it is packed with protein and nutrients. It is also gluten and dairy-free, as well as Candida and Leaky Gut-approved. My kids love these too.

Apple Pie Overnight Oats Recipe
1/2 green or red apple, diced
1/4 cup unsweetened organic applesauce (homemade is best)
1/2 cup almond, coconut, goat, or kefir milk (non-dairy)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
sprinkle nutmeg
1/2 cup gluten-free oats
Extra: 1 tsp collagen, a handful of fresh fruit, or a sprinkle of coconut, h**p, or chia seeds. You can top it with sliced apples and cinnamon sticks, too!
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a mason jar or container. Cover and store in the refrigerator overnight.
Homemade Applesauce
Take 10 medium to large organic apples, cored, peeled, and cut into quarters, 1/8 tsp organic nutmeg, 1 Tbsp organic cinnamon (you can use less if you aren’t a fan of it), and 4 Tbsp water. Put all into a crockpot, mix so apples are covered, and let cook on low for 3 hours until mushy. Put into the blender to purée and enjoy!
