Did you know that owner, is also a student midwife? She is in her second phase of school which requires her to attend births along side her preceptor to gain competency in birth related skills. For those in our little local birth community, you may recognize her preceptor, the amazing of New Birth Experiences. These two will be serving the local homebirth community together for the next few years!

So although Jamie can't find the time to get on our social media regularly, she is still making sure our families of New Jersey have access to safe, reliable encapsulation! We are serving atleast 20 families per month and it's just an absolute HONOR.

Very recently, one of our lovely placenta collection specialists, Jessiane, pointed out the fact that we have been absolutely slackin' on the social media front. We know, we know, in 2021 it's not a good look! But we are very much here, encapsulating as usual.

Our faithful leader, Jamie, is full force in Midwifery School and honestly, social media is the last of her worries! She just completed her first year of school and for that, let's give a round of applause! It's not easy while running a business and momin' full time.

We love you all and we appreciate everyone who continue to choose us for their postpartum journey, even if we aren't current on the gram!

Our social media has been lacking, and for that, we apologize! Owner and head placenta specialist, Jamie, has been pregnant with T W I N S.

For anyone who has been pregnant with multiples, its a wild ride! We had one of our busiest summers yet helping New Jersey mamas turn their placentas into postpartum remedies, and social media just sort of fell on the back burner.

Bearable, tolerable, you laugh and squint one eye through each contraction. Time between to catch your breath, tidy up, chat and text with friends. ⁠

Slowly, it builds. Each ebbing wave growing stronger, bigger, crashing over your entire body.⁠

You close both eyes, you breath deep, swaying, leaning, almost over. You come back, laughing, moving about, one more trip to the bathroom. ⁠

Time moves slowly and quickly all at the same time. You are consciously aware of every moment that has ticked by, each surge closer, and closer, then you slip away into a place far away where time is frozen, eternally still.⁠

Back and forth you come and go, becoming lost much more than you are here. ⁠

Suddenly, the wave of realization washes over you. Fear, uncertainty, "I can't do this!" You proclaim.⁠

But you can, and you are, because these waves ARE you.⁠

We wish we could all be as peaceful during these crazy times as this PERFECT little lady.

But dont worry, we know you need your capsules more than ever during all this, and we are here to let you know encapsulation is still happening. This little ones mama stored her placenta safely during the duration of their stay, and we collected it 24 hours later at their home once they were discharged.

For all those mamas turning to out of hospital birth options when they have never considered the option before, we promise, you got this.

"Hospital restrictions led to new plans at home for this one. A midwife booked and a birth photographer within weeks of this day when she found out that everything she thought she’d have for this first birth of hers was gone, rightfully so, but gone. Like sand between her fingers. Pandemics do that, you know? They steal big things and little things and everything in between as they drain out of the space between your grip without your consent or prior warning and you’re left holding nothing but the spring air.

And here she sat for 18 hours. Laboring. At home.

We all believed she could.
