👏 Get to Know Our Doctors
Meet Dr. James Leonette, an award-winning and the Clinic Director of Enliven Wellness in Bridgeport, WV. A native of Bridgeport, Dr. Leonette graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Leonette has completed extensive post-graduate education and holds several prestigious distinctions, including:
- Fellowship in Acupuncture (FIAMA) by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
- Fellowship in Childhood Neurodevelopmental Disorders (FIBFN CND) by the International Board of Functional Neurology.
- Board Certified Atlas Orthogonist (BCAO) by Sherman College of Chiropractic.
- Certified Epigenetics Health Coach by Apeiron Zoh.
- Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP) by Functional Medicine University.
- Certified Medical Examiner (CME) by USDOT.
- Certificate of Completion by Beyond Functional Medicine.

Additionally, he has a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from WVU.
Currently, Dr. Leonette is a Carrick Scholar in Functional and a board-eligible candidate for a diplomate in clinical nutrition.

Before founding Enliven Wellness in 2012, Dr. Leonette served as a federal investigator with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He founded Enliven Occupational Health, which focuses on health assessments for workers in manufacturing facilities and extraction businesses. This service includes employee physicals, respirator fit testing, hearing tests, and functional capacity exams. As a Certified Medical Examiner (CME), he is qualified to perform USDOT driver medical exams.

Furthermore, Dr. Leonette is a co-author of "Codes of Longevity", a faculty at the Human Longevity Institute, and he regularly presents to organizations and provides private health coaching to individuals.

He has a passion for understanding, assessing, and improving human performance, and continues to innovate wellness by developing programs such as:
Enbrain - A neurodevelopment program to restore physical, mental, and emotional health for children, teens, and adults.
Clinical Nutrition/Holistic Health: This program focuses on restoring and enhancing the body’s health by optimizing nutrition, increasing energy input, and eliminating toxic imbalances to help restore the body’s natural state.

Dr. Leonette is currently licensed as a physician and in West Virginia, Virginia, and Ohio.
