Taking on responsibilities that might be well or even better handled by others is one of the ways we begin to lose our balance and slide down the slippery slope from generosity to martyrdom. For those that know they want to be cremated after death, any idea what to do with cremated remains? A nice benefit of cremation are the vast options available for the final resting place of the cremated remains. Options include placing cremated remains in an urn or multiple urns, sharing them with family, burying them in a family cemetery plot, placing them in a columbarium, scattering them at a cremation garden or elsewhere, and more.

Funeral planning is NOT traditional and dated. Instead, funeral planning has constantly been changing how we accept death and celebrate a life lived. It’s actually the Baby Boomer generation who has changed things up, in favor of personalization within traditional and non-traditional funeral choices.
Funeral planning is NOT a waste of time. In fact, planning in advance saves time, and drastically decreases stress and challenging decisions for survivors in the days after a death.
