Leaking when you sneeze, laugh, or work out isn't something you just have to live with.
It's one of the most common things we treat β and one of the most fixable.
Most people assume it's just weak muscles. But in most cases, it's actually a coordination and pressure management problem. Your pelvic floor, core, and breathing all have to work together at the right time. When that system gets off track, leaking happens β even in people who are strong and active.
That's also why Kegels alone don't work for everyone. If coordination is the real issue, squeezing harder doesn't solve it.
Pelvic physical therapy looks at the whole picture and builds a plan around your body β not a generic exercise sheet.
If you've been quietly managing this with pads, bathroom planning, or just avoiding certain activities, there's a good chance we can help.
We see both men and women in our Bridgeport office.
