Throughout history, women have broken barriers, led movements, and reshaped conversations that once lived in silence.
Today, we recognize women who are helping change the narrative around addiction and recovery. From public figures like Eliza Dushku speaking openly about sobriety, to Amy Grant supporting recovery initiatives, to leaders like Kate Middleton raising awareness and funding for addiction treatment.
It is equally as important to honor the women in our own communities. The mothers fighting to rebuild their families, the daughters choosing sobriety, the sisters supporting one another through healing, and the women who walk through our doors every day and choose courage over shame.
Women in recovery are leaders, advocates, caregivers, and change-makers. This month, we celebrate the resilience, leadership, and transformation of women in recovery.
