It's , so here's my plug for lung cancer screening. More people die from lung cancer than breast, prostate, and colon cancers COMBINED. Lung cancer screening has shown at least a 20% drop in mortality. If you're 50 to 80 years old, currently smoke or quit within the past 15 years, and have smoked a pack or more per day for 20 years on average, then ask your primary care professional for a low-dose screening CAT scan.
