Governor Ned Lamont joined Southwest Community Health Center Friday, February. 6 to celebrate our future health center located within the Madison Avenue clubhouse - Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in Bridgeport, CT.

A first of its kind in Connecticut, this project brings healthcare, youth services, and education together in one welcoming space, making access truly barrier-free for our community. The new health center will bring medical, dental, and behavioral health services together under one roof—supporting more than 10,000 patient visits a year, once fully operational.

This project reflects a shared commitment to community-based care, smart public investment, and meeting families where they are.
