Sally Woodruff Garrison passed away surrounded by family, April 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of lifelong learning, global curiosity, and devoted service to education and community. Always generous with her time, she provided family and friends unwavering love and support throughout her life.

She asked that contributions in her honor be made to the Greenwich Friends Meeting, c/o Cynthia Duffield, PO Box 235, Greenwich, NJ 08323 or to Friends of the Bridgeton Library, 150 East Commerce Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.

Jane Renale Gibe (nee Wyatt), of Statesville, SC and formerly of Hopewell Township died Saturday afternoon April 18, 2026 at the Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville. She was 71 and passed away after being a hospital patient under treatment for pneumonia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday morning May 1st at 11 o’clock at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton.
The interment will follow the service at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10 until 11.

Philip A. “Coach” Leyman, longtime area football coach passed away at his home, as he was surrounded by his family, early Saturday morning April 25, 2026. He was a resident of Upper Deerfield Township and was 77.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at The Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery Pavilion, Trench Road in Hopewell Township on Friday afternoon May 1st at 1:30.

The interment with military honors will follow.
