Cumberland County is looking for compassionate individuals to volunteer as Disaster Response Crisis Counselors (DRCC). This is your opportunity to support your community during times of crisis and make a real difference when it matters most.

What is a DRCC?
A Disaster Response Crisis Counselor is a trained volunteer who supports individuals and communities affected by disasters. Volunteers learn skills in disaster response, behavioral health, and crisis counseling, and work alongside emergency response teams across the county.

Training Dates: May 18–20, 2026 (must attend all 3 full days)
