The Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CBVI), Cumberland County Human Services and Capital Recovery Center are teaming up to bring free eye screenings to the community! This event will be held on Thursday, February 12th from 3pm-6pm at Capital Recovery Center!

Take advantage of this opportunity for a free eye exam and valuable vision resources, provided through Project B.E.S.T. (Better Eye-health Services and Treatment).

Our Peer Recovery Pop Up outings are the perfect opportunity to find out more about Capital Recovery Center and get support from one of our Recovery Coaches.

At Capital Recovery Center we strive to meet you where you are at in your recovery journey, whether it is before, during and/or after treatment!
Services will include:
• Peer to peer support
• Treatment navigation
• Free Narcan distribution & education
• Information & referrals to various social service

Come meet our Recovery Support Team and let us help you overcome barriers to recovery!

Family Circle- Interactive activities for parents and youth in Cumberland County. It’s held at the former CCTEC building on Bridgeton Ave, which has been completely remodeled and reopened as, “The Park,” by Resources for Independent Living. Just going there to be immersed in the beautiful and creative rooms is a treat! You will be dazzled. The program also provides transportation. It’s funded by Cumberland County Human Services Advisory Council (HSAC). Give it a try and please help us spread the word.
