Better. Stronger. Together.

This month is all about volunteers, but it also showcases the power of partnerships. Our Mission Partners do not just talk about making a difference; they weave it into the very fabric of who they are. They cherish the ripple effect that giving back creates, sparking a sense of pride in their employees, a deeper connection with their customers, and a brighter future for the entire community we share.

To our Mission Partners: Thank you for your trust, your shared vision, and your unwavering commitment to an inclusive world. We are truly stronger together.

Today is National Assistive Technology (AT) Awareness Day!

Assistive technology plays a powerful role in the lives of people with disabilities, supporting independence, participation, safety, and dignity at every stage of life. AT is about so much more than meeting basic needs; it is about access, opportunity, and belonging.

From communication devices that give children a voice to smart home technology and wearables that promote independence, AT empowers people of all ages. Assistive technology includes tools, devices, software, remote monitoring, and everyday technology that help people live, learn, work, and participate more fully in all aspects of life.

On April 10, we held our annual volleyball fundraising event across two sites: Brandeis University and Worcester Academy. We were proud to host 6 teams, featuring a mix of long-time participants and returning supporters who came together to move our mission forward.

A special thank you to our Regional Board Members for their leadership in managing the venues and ensuring the event's success.

Our teams raised over $3,300! These funds will go directly toward our Move Our Mission campaign. Thank you to all our players and venues for keeping this three-decade tradition alive and thriving.

Powering the Dream: Teamwork in Overdrive

This Volunteer Appreciation Month, we are celebrating the teams that trade their desks for the dirt and dive heart-first into our mission!

During our TeamWork Days at The Bridge Center, our corporate partners provide the high-octane energy we need to finish weeks of work in a single afternoon. From specialized projects to campus clean-ups, their arrival sparks immediate progress across our entire organization. Our community partners help us turn small goals into massive outcomes, and we love seeing the magic that happens when corporate culture meets community mission. Thank you for proving that when we work together, change happens faster!
