The PlayStation 5 Access controller is a customizable PS5 controller kit designed to make gaming more accessible for players with disabilities. It features a variety of buttons that can be swapped out and customized. Commands can be assigned to buttons in the settings, allowing the controller to be tailored to each player and each game.

The PlayStation 5 Access controller, along with many other Assistive Technology devices, is available to Massachusetts residents for free, borrowable for 30 days, through our Worcester and Boston MassAbility Assistive Technology Regional Centers.

As we celebrate the holidays, Easterseals Massachusetts is excited to share that a limited number of free switch-adapted toys are available for kids of all ages and abilities! Toys are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available for pickup at the MassAbility Assistive Technology Regional Center at our Worcester Headquarters starting December 15. 🎁

Thanks to the generosity of the Boston University College of Engineering Mars Rover Club, these toys were adapted to help support engaging, accessible play. Switch-adapted toys can help children with disabilities explore their environment, build social interactions, and support developmental skills.

Congratulations to Katrina, Assistant Director of Assistive Technology, for reaching the milestone of 25 dedicated years of service at Easterseals Massachusetts! Katrina shared, "Being a part of such a great team in the Assistive Technology department, and the work we do to give our clients greater control over their lives, is why I've always loved working at Easterseals. There's no end to opportunities for learning new things, whether that's technology that's rapidly advancing or how to better meet our clients' very individual needs."

Easterseals Massachusetts will flip the switch to light up Boston on Saturday, December 20, 2025, as part of Prudential Center Boston's Annual 31 Nights of Light program.
