People have been asking us how we’re doing with the construction nextdoor. Here’s the deal.
Bottom Line…It’s killing us…It’s totally crushing us! 😣
When a business that relies on foot traffic and public parking loses both a sidewalk and cross walk, its going to hurt 🫤
Are we mad at our neighbors? Absolutely not💛 Downtown construction happens. This is how it goes.
Have they done anything wrong? Nope! 🙂↔️
Are the construction workers hard to deal with? No 😀 They’re very kind, doing their job, and stop in frequently for coffee and snacks☕️ 🥐
Will we be able to sustain if this continues? Nope 🤷♀️
Are we doing everything in our power to make up for the loss? You betcha! The Bisty Bean/coffee cart are out every day this week, double events on Saturday ☕️ ☕️ ☕️
Do we give up easily? NOOOO!!! I’m an extremely stubborn person when it comes to things that I’m passionate about 😂 💪🏽
How much longer will we be without a sidewalk? We’ve been told a few weeks.
3 weeks doesn’t sound like a long time? True, but business at the shop is only covering 70% of our expenses at this point, so that’s a lot of extra work for our little Bitsy Bean to make up 🛻 ☕️ 😴
Do we think it will really be 3 weeks? My experience with construction timeliness is like football minutes….so, we’ll see!
Do we still love what we do? More than ever!!! ♥️ ☕️ 🌟
